April is a costume designer, crafts technician and textile artist who lives and works in the Cleveland area. She holds an MFA in Costume Design from Kent State University and her work includes designing costumes for the Academy for the Performing Arts in Chagrin Falls, OH; designing and managing the costume shop at Lorain County Community College; and 6 years overseeing the costume department and designing for Oberlin College and Conservatory's Summer Theatre Festival, a professional theatre company striving to bring free theatre classics to Northeast Ohio.
